The Gazelle Foundation’s Run for the Water presented by Keller Williams Realty is the second largest fully charity-produced road race in Austin, Texas. The event is solely produced by and benefits the Gazelle Foundation, an Austin-based non-profit improving the lives of citizens of Burundi, Africa, through the building of water systems. Simply by registering to run, you are providing access to clean water for one Burundian for life.

Due to Hurricane Harvey, this event has been postponed until 2018. Our thoughts and prayers are with all in Houston. Gilbert participates in the Texas Center for the Judiciary’s Inspirational Luncheon in Houston, Texas on September 7, 2017. Gilbert will be the guest speaker to the roughly 100 State Trial and Appellate Judges and their spouses attending the 2017 Annual Judicial Education Conference. The Texas Center for the Judiciary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to provide outstanding judicial education to Texas judges so that a qualified and knowledgeable judiciary and staff may administer justice with fairness, efficiency, and integrity

Earlier this year, an independent group of community leaders chose Gilbert to receive The First Tee of Greater Austin’s 2017 “Perseverance" Award. The First Tee of Greater Austin honors individuals whose attitudes and actions reflect the organization’s 9 Core Values. The Nine Core Values are a vital component of The First Tee’s curriculum which teaches character education to young people ages 7-17 through the game of golf. Congratulations to Gilbert!
